September 22, 2022 – Toronto – The Toronto E-Scooter Network is proud to release the names of 14 more candidates for Toronto City Council who support overturning the ridiculous ban on E-Scooters.
“These candidates represent the diversity of our city. What brings them together is their support for making E-Scooters legal in Toronto,” said Andy Kim, President of the Toronto E-Scooter Network. “This brings the total number of candidates we have endorsed to 31, which is proof that a consensus is growing that this ban must be overturned in the next council term.”
The candidates endorsed today are:
- Wali Abro in Ward 14 – Toronto-Danforth
- Sébastian Auger in Ward 19 – Beaches-East York
- Miguel Avila in Ward 13 – Toronto-Centre
- Alistair Courtney in Ward 1 – Etobicoke North
- April Engelberg in Ward 10 – Spadina-Fort York
- Simon Fogel in Ward 9 – Davenport
- Bonnie Hu in Ward 3 – Etobicoke-Lakeshore
- Colin Johnson in Ward 13 – Toronto-Centre
- Adam Smith in Ward 19 – Beaches-East York
- Allie Spencer in Ward 9 – Davenport
- Steve Thompson in Ward 19 – Beaches-East York
- Bill Wu in Ward 22 – Scarborough-Agincourt
- Thomas Yanuziello in Ward 2 – Etobicoke Centre
- Steve Yuen in Ward 4 – Parkdale-High Park
